What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your billing address
- Your delivery address (which may be someone else’s, if the portrait is a gift)
- Your phone number, if you give one
- The photo of your pet that you upload
- Your pet’s name and any notes you add
- What you ordered, and when
When you pay
Payment is processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card details. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded, and a transaction reference.
When you use the site
Standard technical information: your IP address, browser type, pages viewed. This comes from cookies and similar technology, and is used to keep the site working and understand how it is used.
Your pet’s photo
This is the most personal thing you give us, so we treat it separately.
- It is stored in a protected folder that is not publicly accessible and cannot be reached by guessing a web address.
- It is used only to create your portrait.
- It is not used to train any AI system, and it is not shared, sold or licensed to anyone.
- It is not published anywhere without asking you first. We may ask if we can show your finished portrait as an example of our work. You are free to say no, and saying no changes nothing about your order.
- It is deleted 90 days after your order is completed.
We keep it for those 90 days so we can reprint if something arrives damaged, or answer a question about your order. After that it goes.
Why we use your information

We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to. Order confirmations and delivery updates are not marketing; you get those because you bought something.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary, with these parties only:
Our print partner (Gelato). To print and ship your order, they receive your delivery name and address and your portrait file. They print locally in or near your country wherever possible.
PayPal. To take payment. They handle your payment details directly.
Our hosting provider (Hostinger). Your data is stored on their servers.
Our email provider. To send you order emails.
That is the complete list. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
We may also disclose information if legally required to.
International transfers
We operate from India and sell worldwide. Our print partner produces in many countries. This means your information — specifically your name, delivery address and portrait file — may be transferred to and processed in a country other than your own, including India and the country where your order is printed.
Where such a transfer takes place, we take steps to ensure your information stays protected to the standard described in this policy.
How long we keep things

Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information, including your photo, ahead of the 90 days
- Send you a copy of your information
- Stop using it for marketing

Depending on your country, you may have additional rights and the right to complain to a data protection authority. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under your local law.
Cookies
We use cookies for:
- Essential functions — keeping your cart and your place in the ordering process. The site does not work without these.
- Understanding usage — how people move through the site, so we can improve it.
You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout will stop working properly if you block the essential ones.
Security
Your connection to this site is encrypted (HTTPS). Uploaded photos sit in a protected folder. Payment details never touch our servers.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach occurs that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Significant changes affecting how we use your information will be notified by email where we have your address.
