Classic
Classic pet portraits treat your dog or cat the way a traditional oil painting treats its subject - warm light, a deep background, and no costume at all. Every portrait is refined by a person and approved by you before it prints.
Nothing here just yet - new styles are on the way.
What makes a classic pet portrait different
Everything else in the range does something to your pet. This collection does not. No uniform, no crown, no flat colour - just your animal, painted properly.
That makes it the most timeless option, and the one most likely to still be on the wall in ten years. It is also the easiest to hang in a room that is already traditional.
Light and background
Classic portraits use directional light and a dark, softly graded background. The effect is that your pet appears to emerge from the shadow rather than sit in front of a colour.
It flatters almost every coat, and it is particularly good for pets with complex markings, because the shadow lets some of the detail fall away instead of competing for attention.
How ordering works
- Pick the style that feels most like them, and tell us their name.
- Upload one clear photo of their face. If it will not reproduce well, we ask for another before any work starts.
- Approve your proof. It arrives in 1-3 working days, and nothing is printed until you say yes. Revisions are unlimited and free.
- It ships free and tracked, ready to hang.
Sepia and charcoal classic pet portraits
Alongside full-colour oil, this collection includes sepia and charcoal treatments. Both remove colour from the decision entirely, which is useful when the portrait has to sit alongside existing black and white photographs.
Charcoal in particular works well in a hallway or a stairwell, where a colour portrait can feel heavy. Sepia sits more naturally in a room with wooden furniture or older family photographs already on the wall.
Framed or canvas
Framed arrives ready to hang in a real pine frame with shatterproof plexiglass, in white, black, natural wood or dark wood. Canvas is stretched over a slim 2 cm frame with no glass at all.
Framed suits a gift, because it looks finished the moment the box is opened. Canvas suits a wall that already has a lot going on. Both use the same artwork, so the choice is about the room rather than the portrait.
Choosing a size

Questions before you order
What photo works best?
One clear, well-lit photo taken at your pet's eye level, with their face unobstructed. Phone photos are fine. If the photo will not reproduce well we ask for another one before any work begins, at no cost.
Can I see it before it prints?
Yes. Your proof arrives by email within 1-3 working days and nothing goes to print until you approve it. Revisions are unlimited and free.
How long does delivery take?
After you approve the proof, printing and delivery take roughly 4-6 days for framed prints and 5-6 days for canvas. Shipping is free and tracked on every order.
Can you do more than one pet?
Yes. Choose a multi-pet style and give us each of their names, and they appear together in a single piece.
