Modern
Modern pet portraits turn one photo of your dog or cat into clean, contemporary wall art - bold shapes, calm colour, no fuss. Every portrait is refined by a person and sent to you as a proof before anything prints.
Nothing matches that yet - try clearing the filters.
What makes a modern pet portrait different
Where a royal portrait dresses your pet in velvet and gold, a modern portrait strips everything back. Flat colour, generous negative space, and your pet's actual face doing the work.
These are the styles people choose when they want the portrait to feel like part of the room rather than the focal point of it. It sits happily next to whatever is already on the wall.
Where it works in a home
A hallway, a home office, a nursery or a gallery wall. Modern portraits are the easiest style to live with because they do not compete with your furniture or your other art.
They also scale well. A minimal portrait at 24x36 above a sofa reads as deliberate design rather than a large picture of a dog.
How ordering works
- Pick the style that feels most like them, and tell us their name.
- Upload one clear photo of their face. If it will not reproduce well, we ask for another before any work starts.
- Approve your proof. It arrives in 1-3 working days, and nothing is printed until you say yes. Revisions are unlimited and free.
- It ships free and tracked, ready to hang.
Colour and background
Most modern styles place your pet against a single flat colour or a soft gradient. That choice matters more than it sounds: a warm background flatters ginger and cream coats, while a cooler one makes black, grey and blue coats read clearly rather than disappearing.
If you are matching a specific room, mention it when you order and we will take it into account at the proof stage.
Framed or canvas
Framed arrives ready to hang in a real pine frame with shatterproof plexiglass, in white, black, natural wood or dark wood. Canvas is stretched over a slim 2 cm frame with no glass at all.
Framed suits a gift, because it looks finished the moment the box is opened. Canvas suits a wall that already has a lot going on. Both use the same artwork, so the choice is about the room rather than the portrait.
Choosing a size
| Size | Where it works | From |

| 8x12 | Desk, shelf or gallery wall | $59 |
| 12x18 | Hallway, office or nursery | $79 |
| 16x24 | Above a console or armchair | $99 |
| 24x36 | Above the sofa or bed | $169 |
Questions before you order
Will a minimal style still look like my pet?
Yes. Simplifying the shapes does not mean losing the likeness - markings, ear shape and expression are what make it recognisable, and those are exactly what gets kept. You see a proof before anything prints.
What photo works best?
One clear, well-lit photo taken at your pet's eye level, with their face unobstructed. Phone photos are fine. If the photo will not reproduce well we ask for another one before any work begins, at no cost.
Can I see it before it prints?
Yes. Your proof arrives by email within 1-3 working days and nothing goes to print until you approve it. Revisions are unlimited and free.
How long does delivery take?
After you approve the proof, printing and delivery take roughly 4-6 days for framed prints and 5-6 days for canvas. Shipping is free and tracked on every order.
Can you do more than one pet?
Yes. Choose a multi-pet style and give us each of their names, and they appear together in a single piece.
